Children and Youth
Children and youth are always welcome in our worship service. If you prefer, you are welcome to be with your young child in our Nursery (in the Learning Center) where you can watch the service livestream; ask a Greeter or Usher. For older children, activity and reading materials are available in the entry room at the back of the church.
The Youth Ministry program at Los Altos United Methodist Church welcomes junior high and senior high school students from Foothills: Sundays, 6:30–8:30 PM.

Our scripture for June 28 is Matthew 10:40-42. In only three short verses, the word “welcome” appears six times! Jesus says, "Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.”
There are so many ways to be welcoming. Invite someone to sit next to you. Greet people with a smile. Ask someone to play a game with you. When you meet someone new, learn their name, introduce them to your friends, show them around school or the neighborhood, ask them about themselves… What can you do to be welcoming?
