Children and Youth
Children and youth are always welcome in our worship service. If you prefer, you are welcome to be with your young child in our Nursery (in the Learning Center) where you can watch the service livestream; ask a Greeter or Usher. For older children, activity and reading materials are available in the entry room at the back of the church.
The Youth Ministry program at Los Altos United Methodist Church welcomes junior high and senior high school students from Foothills: Sundays, 6:30–8:30 PM.
Sing-along!
On October 11 the opening hymn will be Gather Us In (Here In This Place). This song is like a prayer for God to bring us together. The first two verses ask God to help us overcome things that separate us (from God and from each other): age, health, pride, fear, or pasts. The third verse is about how God helps us make holy lives and true hearts. The fourth verse is about how we want to be gathered not into a place, but into a community, enlivened by God’s Spirit. We hope you enjoy this peaceful and hopeful song.
