Children and Youth
Children and youth are always welcome in our worship service. If you prefer, you are welcome to be with your young child in our Nursery (in the Learning Center) where you can watch the service livestream; ask a Greeter or Usher. For older children, activity and reading materials are available in the entry room at the back of the church.
The Youth Ministry program at Los Altos United Methodist Church welcomes junior high and senior high school students from Foothills: Sundays, 6:30–8:30 PM.

When you wake up in the morning, do you have a plan for your day? Do you know where you will go and what you will do? Do you have a plan for your week? For your month? For your life? Nobody can know exactly what is going to happen in a day, a year, or a lifetime, but we know that following in God’s ways will lead us on the right paths. Have you ever heard anybody say “God has a plan”? That doesn’t mean that God has a list of everything you are going to do in your life. God’s plan is for people to love and help all of creation. So wherever you go, keep God’s ways of love and compassion and forgiveness at the heart of everything you do, and you will be following God’s plan.
