Fred Cummins
Music Director
Fred has been Foothills’ Music Director since 2001 and organist since 1983. He accompanies the Golden Gate Men’s Chorus and has sung in the San Francisco Choral Artists and San Francisco Bach Choir. He was the first professional director of the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View. Fred holds a Masters in music education and a Bachelors in music from Stanford University.

Kristin Burns
Communications Director
Kristin works closely with the minister, lay leadership, and members of the congregation, managing all of Foothills’ communication, social media and our website. Kristin grew up within the Foothills church community, and is a classically-trained pianist who occasionally accompanies our adult choir and substitutes for our organist.

Gretchen Rauch
Handbell Choir Director
Gretchen joined Foothills as the Handbell Choir Director in 2019. Gretchen began her path to professional handbell performing in 1990 and since has served on the Board of Directors for Area 12 of the Handbell Musicians of America and as a past president of Handbell Ventures. She has performed with Bronzewood Paedeia in a Northern California concert tour, toured in Italy with Handbell Ventures, and rung all over the U.S. and Japan with Sonos.

Nathalie Mondésir
Church Administrator & Bookkeeper
Nathalie joined Foothills' staff in 2022, bringing a wealth of diverse experience. Originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she has worked as a radio and TV presenter, business owner, and politician. With a background in Marketing Management, Leadership, and Business Administration, she combines strong organizational skills with a natural ability to connect with people. Nathalie has also made a meaningful impact serving the autistic community at Berryessa as a California Certified Registered Behavior Technician, reflecting her compassionate, people-centered approach to work and life.

Sharon Ott
Moderator
Sharon has extensive and varied professional experience and brings a strategic mindset, a deep commitment to collaboration, and a talent for refining business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Her leadership is rooted in inclusivity, ensuring that all voices are heard and that Foothills continues to be a welcoming and engaged community.
Beyond her professional expertise, Sharon finds great joy in bringing people together over home-cooked meals and fostering meaningful connections through shared experiences. She has a deep appreciation for cultural exploration, whether through travel or the diverse perspectives that shape our world. An early riser, she also enjoys long morning hikes—moments of reflection that fuel her dedication to thoughtful leadership and continuous growth.

Lisa Teske
Vice Moderator
Lisa has been a member of Foothills since 1999. With a career as a software engineering program manager, she has expertise in leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to plan, track, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Lisa brings valuable strengths to Foothills, including clear communication, collaboration, team building, and fostering high morale while guiding teams to success. Beyond her professional skills, Lisa has a passion for playing the Celtic harp and enjoys hiking in the Bay Area's open space preserves.
