Enjoying the View

Explore the beauty of our nearby natural wonders and spots of interest, led by the indefatigable Bobbi Callison. Outings range from easy paved walks to moderate trail hikes. Wear appropriate footwear for exploring outdoor trails; bring a water bottle, and a hat for sun protection.

This is the last outing of 2024. I won't be doing these hikes in 2025. It has been a great few years for me and I hope for you also.

We are going to stay close to home by going to Rancho San

Antonio Open Space Preserve to experience the farm with its original buildings and farm equipment. I will also cover the local history of the area.

Bring a bag lunch as there is a wonderful original covered building with plenty of picnic tables. There are drinking fountains and a restroom. The trails are mostly flat and well traveled. The creeks should be flowing and we may see a few wildflowers. The hike will be somewhere between 2.5 and 3 miles. It is an out-and-back hike so you can turn around anytime.

You must RSVP* if you are coming as I may cancel if weather is rainy. If you want to carpool, let me know.
