with Bobbi

Explore the beauty of our nearby natural wonders and spots of interest, led by the indefatigable Bobbi Callison. Outings range from easy paved walks to moderate trail hikes. Wear appropriate footwear for exploring outdoor trails; bring a water bottle for hydration and a hat for sun protection.

One of our members has invited us for a short hike and history of their property on Moody Road in Los Altos Hills. It's mostly in the shade, with some hills, and plenty of rest stops. Bring your poles, especially if you decide to venture where the trail gets steeper. Or, if you don't want to hike, just come for lunch and conversation. Definitely bring a bag lunch as there are many tables and chairs in the front yard - it's a good visiting area.
To carpool:
Meet at church at 10:15. Please be on time - we will not wait more than 5 minutes.

To drive yourself:
From church the house is about 2 miles up Moody Road. Go to El Monte and head west. Go past Foothill College. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Moody Road. Stay on Moody road, go past Duvenecks. In 1/2 mile the house will be on the right: 27271 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills; look for the American flag to identify the place. If you reach the hairpin turn, you have gone too far - turn around; the house will now be on your left.
