You spend your time caring for someone else. Who is caring for you?
Whether you are caring for a spouse, parent, partner, family member, or close friend, caregiving can be one of life's most meaningful - and most demanding - roles.
Many caregivers experience exhaustion, isolation, anxiety, grief, frustration, and the feeling that no one truly understands what they're carrying.
You are not alone.
Our monthly Caregiver Support Group offers a safe, welcoming place to share experiences, receive encouragement, and discover practical resources alongside others who understand the realities of caregiving.
The group is facilitated by Sandy Roos, Psychotherapist, who brings professional experience and compassionate guidance to each gathering.
You are welcome whether you’ve been caregiving for years or have only recently stepped into the role.
There is no expectation to share if you aren’t ready. Simply come, listen, and know you’re among people who understand.
Together we explore subjects including:
-
Caregiver stress and burnout
-
Isolation and loneliness
-
Finding respite and caring for yourself
-
Balancing work, family, and caregiving
-
Difficult emotions—including guilt, resentment, and grief
-
Family conflict around caregiving responsibilities
-
Navigating medical systems and community resources
-
Anticipatory (“pre-”) grief
-
Cultivating joy in the midst of challenging circumstances
