"Ye Followers of the Lamb" Shaker Song
Folk | Intermediate: Fair music-reading skills would help you learn this in our single rehearsal, especially if you've looked at the music, and listened to the recording. (We'll take it at a slower tempo).

Music note: In the printed music, we will skip measures 102-109; when sopranos split, most should sing the lower part; altos always sing the lower part.

StarGeezers will be our guest musicians. They describe themselves as "a band of four elderly musicians playing upbeat and offbeat American music. We play an interesting mix of oldies, newbies, country and sacred songs. We have a combined musical experience of over 260 years."

Music notes
This piece is based on "Au Fond du Temple Saint' from Bizet's 'The Pearl Fishers'.
Women sing part 1 (down an octave if too high), men sing part 2 (no one sings parts 3).
The audio recording starts in measure 3 and doesn't include the repeat in measures 17-28 which we'll sing.

Local bluegrass group The Rounder Circle (Hilary Nelson, Thomas Hatcher, Kyla Kent, and Ilan Ladabaum) will be our guest musicians.
