Children: Our Church School Sunday
program has classes for pre-schoolers through 8th grade and a nursery
for the very young. Children are invited
to sit with their parents at the beginning of
the 10 a.m. worship service before they are asked to gather
at the front of the sanctuary for a "Children's
Message" from our minister. Children
then go spend the remaining time in Church School until
the 10 a.m. service concludes.
The Church School curriculum is lectionary-based, which means that the children learn about the same scriptures that are discussed in the main worship service. The Church School program also includes music for fun, worship, and special occasions, such as the Christmas Pageant and Palm Sunday festivities.

Middle & High Schoolers: We have an active youth fellowship (Middle School fellowship and PF - Pilgrim Fellowship) that meets Sunday evenings. The program has professional leadership and features outreach projects, fun discussions, movies and outings, and Christian fellowship. They often make a mission trip to help with some large project. Each year, the group usually goes somewhere such as Arizona and builds a small house for a family in need. See Ministry For Youth and News/Events for youth events scheduled each month.
Adults: There are two Bible study classes that meet once a week, during the day. There are frequent forums - usually with outside speakers - held after the 10 a.m. worship service on a wide range of topics. There are occasional classes, such as the six week video class on Church History and a nine week class on "How to Read the Bible in Twelve Easy Steps". There are two annual retreats, the weekend Fall Retreat held at various locations near Los Altos and the Advent day Retreat at El Retiro Retreat Center in Los Altos. We occasionally have special educational events for young families, such as parenting classes and Bible study classes.
