Our Denomination - United Church of Christ
Foothills Congregational Church is a member of the United Church of Christ, a progressive denomination with a long history dating
back to the Pilgrims.
In 1957, The Evangelical and Reform Church and Congregational Christian Churches joined together
to form the United Church of Christ (UCC).
The UCC has a proud history of being a progressive Christian church, such as taking an early stand against slavery in 1700.
